  • (07.11.2009) Postcard Project have been on a pause since the summertime started. I did not have that much time to effort energy to bother myself with this. It is a good news that soon I will start again, becuase during this period I reorganized the programme. So, up for swap! 
  • (23.07.2009) I have added couple of postcards from Zarah (Cambodia) and Redlan (Philippines). These arrived for more than a month ago, but now I got the time to upload them to this page. I have also reorganized my albums, so I let everyone known that my postcard swap starts soon again, so be ready to receive some new cards from me shortly! ## Nééhány képeslapot adtam ehhez az albumhoz Zarahtól és Redlantól, akik képeslapjai már több, mint egy hónapja megérleztek, de csak most jutott időm a képek feltöltésére. Továbbá közlöm a kedves barátaimmal, hogy az albumjaim rendbetétele megtörtént, így a csere-bere is hamarosan újraindul.

What is this Postcards Project about?

Postcard Project is one of my beloved projects ever. I am a postcard collector and I would like to get many postcards from anywhere all around the world! This is just a simple hobby. But it is a valuable one. This hobby lets me meet with many interesting people and expands my knowledge about the World. It could be a geography project as well! So I think it is quite useful. I have been collecting postcards since my childhood, so I have already had quite many. With this project I am looking for relationships and I want to make friendships with people who could send me postcards about that place where they live. I am expecting such postcards which are able to represent a little piece about that environment where that postcard comes from or it could represent that place where the sender lives. I am open for constant swap, too.

What am I looking for?

I do not collect postcard about funny things, advertisments and anything like this, however my interest covers a quite wide area, for exanple:

I am looking for the following type of postcards:

  • Any kind of settlements (e.g. villages, towns, cities)
  • Landscapes or nature relations (e.g. sea, mountains, hills, plains, rivers etc.)
  • Vintage postcards, or simply old postcards
  • Natural objects
  • Types of human and native animals
  • Nationalities
  • Everything about nations, folk, traditions
  • Flowers, trees, any kind plants
  • Unnatural object (e.g. buildings, bridges, houses, towers)
  • UNESCO World Heritage sites
  • Windmills, watermills, wind turbines
  • Etc.

Do not be afraid, because basically I do not make selection! Any kind of postcards are welcome! I keep them as treasures!

What can I offer?

I do not think this for free! I could give anything for the postcards, so we just need to make a deal. For example, I could also send postcards or any other collectibles. It is nice to swap postcards this simple way and even better feeling to give them, to cause a surprise to anyone. Just let me know if you are interested… We could make a very good friendship and such a business relationship with postcard trading, exchange. I am looking for people with the same interests and expecting them to make a large collection together.

Mi is a Postcards Project?

A Postcard Project, vagy más néven Képeslap Projekt az egyik legkedvesebb a hobbitevékenységeim közül. A projekt keretében képeslapokat gyűjtök a világ minden tájáról. Ez egy nagyon egyszerű, de hasznos hobbi, mivel segít minél több emberrel kapcsolatba lépnem a világban és ugyanakkor az ismereteket is bövíti a távoli országokról. A projekt keretében hálózatot építek emberekkel, akik hasonló érdeklődési körrel rendelkeznek, s velük képeslapokat cserélek.

Miket gyűjtök?

Többféle képeslap gyűjtésével foglalkozom. Ezek közül a legkedvesebbek számomra:

  • Képeslapok településekről (falu, város)
  • Tájképek, természeti szépségek (pl. tengerek, hegyvidékek, dombságok, síkságok, folyók stb.)
  • Antik képeslapok, vagy csak egyszerűen régi képeslapok
  • Természetes objektumok
  • Emberfajták, őshonos állatok, élőlények
  • Nemzetiségek (főleg népviselet, illetve egyéb népi relációk, s ehhez kapcsolódó antik képeslapok)
  • Virágok, fák és egyéb növények
  • UNESCO Világörökség színhelyek
  • Szélmalmok
  • Magyar népművészet (Folklór)
  • Stb.

Már gyermekkorom óta gyûjtöm a képeslapokat, de valahogy mindig specializálódtam és jelenleg is képeslapokat gyûjtök városokról, településekrõl, természetrõl és egyélb érdekességekről. Ezzel a projektel a célom olyan emberek kersése, akik tudnak küldeni képeslapot arról a területrõl, ahol élnek. A lényeg, hogy a képeslap hűen tükrõzze azt a települést, ahonnét a képeslap vagy ahonnét a képeslap küldéje származik! Írott, felbélyegzett és pecséttel ellátott képeslapok a legértékesebbek számomra, de nincs különösebb kizáró ok! 

Mit ajánlok?

Természetesen nem gondolom ingyen a dolgot. Cserebe talán fel tudok ajánlani valamit. Akármit ami esetleg a Te gyüjteményedet is gyarapíthatja. Csak tudasd velem! Elsősorban képeslapkat keresek és azt is tudok adni, de ha kell, akkor van még

  • Bélyeg
  • Boríték
  • Pénzérme
  • Papírpénz
  • Stb.

Fontos! A saját gyűjteményemből nem cserélek! Amennyiben egy dologból több is van, akkor abból tudok cserére áldozni. Ez a képeslap projekt a "meglepetésszerű" képeslapok küldéséről  szól, ami annyit jelent, hogy küldünk egymásnak, de nem mondjuk meg pontosan, hogy milyen képeslap. Amennyiben specifikáltan akarsz cserélni, akkor feltétlenül lépj velem kapcsolatba és tudasd velem.

These postcards were sent by one of my friends who lives in Sárbogárd. This is a little settlement in Fejér County. He sent me two postcards once. Thanks so much for the postcards Norbi!

Ezeket a képeslapokat a sárbogárdi barátom, Norbi küldte természetesen Sárbogárdról. Ez egy kis Fejér megyei település. Két képeslapot kaptam Norbitól, amiért természetesen hálás vagyok! Köszönöm!

János is a postcard collector from Csabacsüd. Once he sent me many-many postcards. That pack contained all what you can see here below. There are postcards from Gyula, Szarvas, Csabacsüd, Kecskemét, Ópusztaszer, Szeged, Békésszentandrás, Gyomaendrőd és Békéscsaba. Couple of them are rare and antic. I still own him for these postcards, I hope once I can give him back something for his big favour. Thank you János! I have not forgotten about you!

János egy képeslapgyűjtő, aki Csabacsüdön, egy tanyán lakik. Egyszer küldött nekem egy csomagnyi képeslapot, ami többek között tartalmazott értékes, s már antik képeslapokat is Gyula, Szarvas, Csabacsüd, Kecskemét, Ópusztaszer, Szeged, Békésszentandrás, Gyomaendrőd és Békéscsaba településekről. Jánosnak még mindig nem sikerült meghálálnom ezeket a képeslapokat, de remélhetőleg előbb-utóbb sikerül. János, köszönöm szépen a lapokat; nem feledkeztem meg rólad!

Erzsi is a 78 years old woman this year, who is one of my friends. She was once my college, so we have been friends since that time. She collects postcards for me, and also sends me sometimes. She is basically from Sümeg, which is a town in Veszprém County in Hungary. She sent me a postcard in 2008 from Hévíz (left) and one from Tapolca (right) in March 2009. Thanks for the postcards!
 
Erzsi néni egy kedves, idén 78 éves hölgy, aki az egyik barátom. Egyszer együtt dolgoztunk, s azóta barátok vagyunk. Gyűjtöget nekem képeslapokat, illetve időnként küld is. 2008 őszén küldött egy lapot Hévízről (balra), és 2009 márciusában Tapolcáról. Erzsi néni Sümegen lakik, de rengeteget utazik mind a mai napig!
